Whenever I venture to Tassie I always like to spend the last couple of days here. It is so relaxing and friendly and not all that touristy. The rooms are lovely and spotlessly clean. With the river mouth at your door you get those lovely sea breezes and the smell of the ocean. I love it.
Couldn't recommend this place more highly. Continental breakfast was absolutely amazing, not just average fruit and toast. The variety was amazing. Local produce, home made muffins from the owners. Molly the dog was a great little suprise. Rooms were beautiful executed.Views were stunning. And a nice little travel lolly bag when you check out
The motel is literally right at the waterfront a short walk to the beach and the town. There is an excellent fish & chip shop next door and a decent pub across the road. The staff was very friendly. The room was the usual motel room. A bit dated but little personal touches which made it different. The notes around the place are quite entertaining. Free water was available plus they had a well stocked mini bar. Upon check out we received bag of lollies for the road! So nice. There is free WiFi access in the room. We had a king & single for 3 adults which was a bit tight with luggage. Overall a good stay.
Dear owner/owners,You probably dont remember our stay here because it was like five years ago or something but we always stayed in Room Number 7 and we loved staying at this motel. We went here a couple of times and the man at the counter was really nice and gave us mentos. The view in front of the motel was really nice, you could see the waterfront. We said we were going to come back but we never did, were very sorry but when we come here again, were staying at the Waterfront Wynyard. Promise.
I highly recommend the Waterfront Wynyard. Our room was sparklingly clean and well fitted out. The bed was so comfortable! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our included breakfast was lovely, and they even let us grab some brekky early when we had to leave early. Location is fantastic and central . We really enjoyed our stay here!
