Shocking service. We are on holidays from QLD and my wife developed a UTI. Phoned this place and they refused to see her. Would have thought they could have helped us out given what she had. Luckily the medical centre at Somerset is actually concerned with patient care. They saw my wife as soon as we got there. Did a quick urine test and confirmed a UTI and prescribed her some antibiotics. Problem solved. Thanks for nothing Wynyard Medical Centre. Very poor treatment. Very rude receptionist.
Friendly and treat you with respect
Terrible experience. The receptionist was very rude and hung up my phone without allowing me to finish my sentence. I note that I spoke to her nicely and politely. I won't be surprised if this clinic is held liable for medical tragedy one day cause by the negligence and impatient of its employee.
We are travelling from Ballarat Vic. and forgot heart medicine. This clinic refused prescriptions even though we knew the medication name because we didn't have medical history from doctor at home. Lets hope this clinic doesn't become responsible for a medical tragedy. P.S. Thank heavens Burnie hospital was more considerate. Now we can safely continue our journey.
